If everyone wants to sit, talk and raise a glass together, start with a private dinner. If they’re coming to dance, a club table gives the group a meeting point. You can combine both, but agree where you’ll be at midnight before choosing dinner.

A table reservation doesn’t give you control of the venue’s soundtrack. A private room doesn’t automatically include speakers or a microphone. If a toast, your own playlist or a surprise is part of the night, put it in the brief from the start.

MAKE THE QUOTE MATCH YOUR NIGHT

Ask for a quote specifically for 31 December, with the space, hours, food, drinks and all charges included. Check the deposit, cancellation terms and deadline for final guest numbers. A regular-night menu or table minimum isn’t your New Year’s Eve quote.
